ALAE National High School Thanks Share Books Worldwide

Share Books Worldwide would like to thank the many volunteers, overseas, that ensure the success of our mission.  Without their logistical support and organizational talents, the recipients of these donations would still be lacking.

"Thank you very much," to all those volunteers!

For 2016, Share Books Worldwide has shipped nearly
 ⇨ 9,000 ⇦
books to the rural communities in the Philippines.  That does not include other miscellaneous educational materials, such as pencils, markers, paper, and science-project materials.

Our goal for 2017 is to ship 10,000 books and any other educational material(s) that we might acquire during the next calendar year.  Shipping books is a cost that continues to create challenges for us.  We are hoping to raise $5,000 for the new year, to accommodate those shipping expenses.

Share Books Worldwide is unique, when compared to other non-profit organizations.  No one in our organization takes a salary or receives any kind of monetary allowance(s).  Share Books Worldwide uses 100% of the money they receive - from donations or from sales of books online - to ship books overseas, or to purchase shipping supplies.

All books that are donated to Share Books Worldwide are carefully sorted into several categories.  Some donated books still retain some market value.  Those books are listed on our online store(Amazon).  The other books are divided into four categories: College level books, High School level books, K-8 level books, and books with religious content.
